Restrictions

• REV digital timers do not have a separate switch for activating domestic hot water (boiler)
• In cases with dual command we can only recommend an electronic timer for greater accuracy and energy savings
• Learning phase - after starting or resetting, the controller operates during two cycles like a variable on-off thermostat. The variation is +/- 0.25 ° C. The controller measures the temperature fluctuation up and down during these 2 cycles. The control parameters are then adjusted as a result of these measurements during these 2 switching cycles.
• The duration of the learning phase depends on the type of control (room size, heating power, dimensions of radiators, etc.). After the learning phase the thermostat returns to normal operation.
• In normal operation, the thermostat will send on and off pulses even when the room temperature is within the temperature range. The result is shorter switching cycles (opening-closing) and increased temperature stability.
• The thermostat remains permanently open (and respectively closed) when the room temperature is lower than 0.25 ° C (and correspondingly higher) than the desired temperature.
• Activating / deactivating the command is prevented for 3΄ after the last on / off status change. This prevents the burners from operating too fast and prevents wear.
