The new BR-6428NS V5 has smaller dimensions, but higher performance, with speeds reaching up to 300Mbps.
It can be used in the following ways:
1. Router: Connect it directly to your modem and let it do all the routing work
2. Access point: Convert any wired network to wireless
3. Range extender or extender: Extend an existing wireless network to areas where the signal is weak
4. WISP: Wireless Internet Service Provider, For connecting to the Internet directly from a provider via WiFi
With the smart iQSetup wizard of Edimax, the installation of the BR-6428NS V5, for whichever of the 5 functions you choose, becomes an incredibly simple process, either through your computer, or even through your smartphone or tablet.
Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) button: Most WiFi devices now incorporate the ability to "pair" with each other via WPS technology. Just press the special button and your devices will communicate directly with each other.
Supports the "guest network" at the same time as the main. This way, your guests can surf the internet without having access to your home or business network files. This feature is only available in Router mode.
