The product WRM 500 is a sealant mortar of high specifications, cement-based, with silicone aggregates of high silicon content and selected granulometry. It is one component, high speed (setting time 3 min), non-shrinking and only water is required for its preparation.

Application Steps

Step 1

The holes and cracks widen to a small depth and width of about 20 mm. The hole should be rinsed with water of sufficient pressure to remove dirt and dust, and to remove excess water. When installing the WRM 500 on sanitary ware and on dry surfaces, wetting with clean water must precede

Step 2

Because the material coagulates very quickly (in about 3 min) you must make sure before the preparation of the mixture that all the necessary preparations have been made, that the necessary aids are present, that you are close to the surface to be repaired and that you make small quantities so that use them in the time available. If you want to reduce the clotting time then use lukewarm water, while the opposite is achieved if you use cold water

Step 3

The material must be applied when the outside temperature is between + 5OC and + 35OC. When the temperature is at high levels, the strengths develop faster, while the workability of the material decreases. At low temperatures the resistances develop with delay

Step 4

In a clean container, add 210 - 230ml per kilo of clean water material and gradually add the material, stirring constantly with fast and strong movements with a spatula, so that a homogeneous paste is obtained.

Step 5

Then you take the mass with your hands (which will be protected with gloves) and shape it to acquire the necessary plasticity and immediately after you press it into the hole you want to seal, pushing it so that it penetrates everywhere and seals the gap. If there is a water leak, press by hand for a while until the material is completely solidified

Step 6

It is recommended to keep the surface moist and to avoid rapid evaporation especially when the temperature is high or when the application is done under strong sun
